Forming positive attitude usually takes time. It stems from previous experiences. Hence, the key is getting away from negative people in your life. Thus, having no friends is better than having one or more negative friends. It is said that you become the average of the 5 people that you are around the most. For me right now, it will be the people I work with.
Considering my job is about to change to a cable technician, I will probably be the highest educated and one of the smartest. So, I will not dumb down. I will have to invest in the time of finding people I am most worthy of being around, and who will make my life better. I will go through the right avenues of finding these friends, which will require that I do some searching.
Don’t ever be complacent with being around the wrong people. Never give in to being as stupid as those you hang around with. Furthermore, you must not become less than what you are capable of by meeting and making erroneous friends. Forming positive attitude depends on who you create relationships with. It should come from within and be something you feel in your mind, heart, and gut.
Forming Positive Attitude Does Not Always Happen Quickly
Once achieving and forming positive attitude, it is difficult to maintain. It takes effort on your part including turning negatives into positives. Consequently, if a job does not work out, think of it as a positive learning experience. If your wife divorces you, look at all the positives and see why it may have been necessary and better for you.
You must treat forming positive attitude as a class or relationship that you need to develop. If you fall or fail, get up and try again. Even the most successful people have negativity come into their lives, but the key for everyone is knowing how to get out of it. Don’t let it continually get worse.
