Success requires discipline, and discipline requires hard work. Nothing is ever going to be easy in life. My high school principal taught and preached fire and brimstone along with this very idea.
The path to hell and secularism is easy and the path to heaven and Catholicism is tough. I do not believe everything about it. I never really liked the hierarchical structure of the Church, which is a bunch of old men in cassocks.
Since my early days, I have fallen away. Yet, I still believe in God, which I don’t believe is an old man with a flowing white beard. He does not sit on a throne ruling the universe. It opposes the New Age belief of pantheism, which is – a doctrine that equates God with the forces and laws of the universe – as defined in the Merriam-Webster dictionary.
Success Requires Discipline and Finding Your Passion
No matter what we believe as to whether it is the universe or God, we know it is a higher power that is everywhere but mostly in ourselves. Discipline means pain, which aligns with pains of hell. Sometimes, the path to heaven is going through hell. Part of it is giving everything you got.
Everyone has something that he or she is great at, and you either need to find it or allow it to find you. It is your calling or highest passion but unique only to you. You will love or enjoy it no matter what. Maybe, all it takes it looking deep inside of yourself.
Some people go through life without ever knowing or understanding what they are meant to do while here on this earth. The Lord’s Prayer has these words “thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” In other words, your utmost calling or passion will go with you after you die.
