Angel Not Yet Earning Wings

Evergreen Link for Coofandy

A dream was born from above,

Cloud sheds tears, with a spark.

I lay wondering if this is real love,

Lightning flashing in the dark.

~

I look in her smiling meek eyes,

Her soul wanted me at home.

A whisper from a spirit so wise,

Said it is written in God’s tome.

~

I could not refuse God Almighty,

Even though feeling not ready.

This time I could not be flighty,

Navigating the storm so steadily.

~

I pressed against her lips kissing,

Feel the passion dwelling inside.

Several days later, I was missing,

God took me with him to reside.

~

He lectured me about my wrong,

My wings were not ready for me.

Heartbroken she is to be lifelong,

As a human I can no longer be.

~

Paying a price before taking, flight!
