I dream of meeting my last love in life. There are several women in my life I know I could have a relationship with, but right now my feelings are mixed with all them.
I awakened excitedly for what could be but knowing it was up to me. How do I approach her without my controlling emotions? The laughter and crying almost happened simultaneously. The weirdness of how it could end so quickly by one foolish action and even something not said. The timing will not often be perfect and learning to compromise is most important. There will be a time for complete transparency of each other’s humanity. As an older man, I know I cannot procreate life anymore, but yet I still dream of meeting my last love in life.
Our lives must intentionally govern by goodness and coordinated with the universe or in what many people claim to be in God’s time. Trained as a scientist, I have learned to be skeptical of everyone including myself and question my own thoughts and actions, accordingly. We pretend we know what we are doing socially, but that trend is more for a woman than a man. The women folk remain grounded and earthy while men are flighty and fickle creatures. Finding the balance with someone is difficult and we get into serious relationships for the wrong reasons like getting something personal settled. It could be the result of some childhood trauma response. Therefore, as a man be mysterious instead of too much of good guy. There is passion for older men that often goes unresolved. Show with quiet objective that you can have a little bit of badness in you. Subtly do not let your guard down too much early on. Speak your truth honestly knowing it may hurt. Get past often being right all the time or consider the option making peace if possible. Learn from mistakes and interact with knowledge or at least admit when you cannot do something most men know how to do. Do not be the superhero and do not be the villain of any close relationship. Every group needs a devil’s advocate, but the devil and Jesus are both within. Keep it true and real, for only sometimes it works to fake it until you make it.

Honesty is the best policy and do the right thing, all the time, more so to their advantage than yours but only if necessary. These words may not make sense or make you feel empty without any substance. It is okay to feel nothing sometimes and accept it. The glass does not often have to be half full or half empty. It can just be a glass of liquid no matter what the quantity is. Most women do not see the importance of passion for older men.
I leave you with this thought, and that it is to know me well is to spend as much time with me as possible even to help me fight through my darkest and live through my brightest moments, for each moment will come and go quickly. Though, each moment with the right woman will be of sacred bliss, even in disagreement. Almost every man will dream of meeting his last love in life.
